Sunglasses At Night
“Sunglasses at Night” is an amazing pendant featuring some incredible Uranium glass crafted by Karen Cozzens. It’s wrapped by myself Brian J Vermont in 3 kinds of metals to show contrast. 14/20 gold filled wire, .925 sterling silver, and copper wires twist and turn around the beautiful colors of the Uranium and antique blue glass. And under UV/blacklights the Uranium glass lights up like the stars we all had on our ceilings growing up. Also the piece features a bale on both top and bottom so it can be worn either way or even have additional pieces hung from it.
If you’re curious yes uranium glass is mildly radioactive, but it emits much less radiation than any cell phone that we all seem to carry with us at all times.
